More cold weather, possible snow Thursday afternoon
MILWAUKEE - One year ago today it was 78 degrees, but the forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for continued cold weather and more clouds today. Flurries are expected west of Milwaukee and highs will only be in the low to mid 30s....7 degrees below the normal high.
Tonight will be cloudy and cool with lows in the 20s. Another storm system moves in for Friday with flurries in the morning and a rain/snow mix in the afternoon with highs in the mid to upper 30s. The mix changes to light snow Friday evenign with less than an inch of accumulation for most of SE Wisconsin, and 1-2" of accumulation for Sheboygan and Fond du Lac Counties.
The weekend will be cold with highs near freezing and lows near 20 with scattered flurried on Saturday and sunshine on Sunday.
Another storm system will bring a rain/snow mix to Milwaukee by Monday and it remains cold through next week.
