Storm Team 4
Snow to fall this weekend
MILWAUKEE - There continues to be a rather progressive pattern in the upper atmosphere which leads to frequent, typically little pesky disturbances rolling through the region.

We'll experience that over the next couple of days. The first will begin spreading some flurries or patchy very light snow into western and southwestern sections of our area as we work through the morning and early afternoon.
There's plenty of dry air to overcome before seeing the flakes fly, which is why it may take some time to see the clouds produce anything of note.
Look for periods of sun especially east and north.
The next system is slightly more vigorous and should arrive Friday afternoon.
The temperature profile in the atmopshere should support a rain/snow mix at the start, but cold air filtering in behind the disturbance will mean a change over to snow by Friday evening with snow tapering off late Friday night.
There could be some areas with accumulation of a couple inches, particularly to the North of Milwaukee.
Seasonally warmer air works in briefly with highs near 40 for Friday before reading drop off back to the low 30s over a drier weekend.
