WASHINGTON CO. - A 30-year-old man from Trenton was critically injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred at State Highway 33 and County Highway M Wednesday morning.
According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened just after 9 a.m.
"The initial call indicated that a car and a semi truck had collided and one subject had been ejected from a vehicle," said the sheriff's office. "The injured man was transported to St. Joseph Hospital by Newburg Rescue and immediately transferred to Froedtert Hospital."
According to an initial investigation, it appears that the man was traveling south and did not stop at the stop sign at State Highway 33. His truck was hit by a semi truck driven by a 55-year-old Sheboygan Falls man.
