Avalon Theater auctioning off memorabilia Wednesday

MILWAUKEE - A historic theater in Milwaukee takes another step in its rebuilding process.
People who run the Avalon Theater in Bay View are holding an auction of many antique items from inside it.
The theater initially closed in 2000.
After several unsuccessful attempts to re-open it, the theater will re-open in December 2013.
The man who recently bought and is renovating Wauwatosa's Rosebud Theater and Milwaukee's Times Cinema also owns the Avalon.
Starting Wednesday, he plans to auction off items like vintage popcorn machines, projectors and production equipment.
