MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee Police have arrested a 35-year-old Milwaukee man for Battery and Disorderly conduct after he fought with a security guard at a Wisconsin Department of Transportation service center.

According to Sergeant Mark Stanmeyer with Milwaukee Police, around noon on Monday, March 11, DMV employees asked the suspect to leave after he refused to turn down the volume of the music he was listening to.

"A 21-year-old security guard employed by the mall where the service center is located attempted to intervene, however the suspect began to physically fight with the security guard," said Sgt. Stanmeyer. "The guard was injured as a result of the fight, however he did not seek medical attention during the investigation."

The DMV service center is located on 7063 N. Teutonia Avenue. The suspect's case was sent to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office for possible charges.
