SUMMIT - Rain and mild temperatures has caused local rivers and streams to rise.

It's also caused a hazard for drivers who are dealing with minor flooding on roads.

Todd Heppe is the owner of The Sports Channel Bar on the shore of Upper Nemahbin lake. Heppe told TODAY'S TMJ4 he's worried about the spring runoff.

"I get a little nervous because in years past we've had a lot of water, standing water," Heppe says.

Heppe said the area is prone to minor flooding when there is a large snow pack, rain and mild temperatures. The problem was evident nearby on Venice Beach Road.

The street lined with homes had several inches of water covering the road.

In addition to Waukesha County, there was minor street flooding on some roads in Milwaukee County, including Capitol Drive.
