MPD and Wendy's kickoff 2nd annual 'March for Literacy'
MILWAUKEE - The Milwaukee Police Department is partnering with a popular fast food chain to help promote literacy.

The community is asked to donate new or like new books for children at various Wendy's locations on Saturdays throughout March, at the District Three police station on North 49th Street, or at the Next Door Foundation on North 29th Street.
The Wendy's drop off locations change each Saturday. This Saturday they will be collecting books at the Wendy's locations at 3050 S. Chase Avenue, 2310 S. 43rd Street, and 580 W. Layton Avenue.
Milwaukee Police will have a police car at each Wendy's location from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and donors are encouraged to 'Stuff the Squad' with books.
