IOLA - A man brought back to Wisconsin to face charges for a 1990 sexual assault has pleaded guilty to the offense.

According to the criminal complaint, Glendon C. Gouker sexually assaulted a woman on Nov. 5, 1990. The 20-year-old woman said she was walking home that night when a man in a mask came running towards her, grabbed her around the neck and dragged her through a park and eventually into a golf course community and raped her.

The man told her, "I'm just doing my job," and then "I don't want to hear any heat about this, because if I do, I'll be sitting outside your door the minute you come out. I know where you live."

In September, 2011, the DNA from the sexual assault was tested and found to be Gouker's. On March 8, 2013, Gouker pleaded guilty to First Degree Sexual Assault in the case.

Gouker is also a person of interest in a 1992 double homicide in Waupaca County, where a man was stabbed to death and a woman was sexually assaulted then killed.
