Report: Packers' former DT Jenkins open to return
GREEN BAY - The agent for former defensive line stalwart for the Green Bay Packers says he's open to returning to the team with whom he won a Super Bowl.
Cullen Jenkins' agent, Brian Levy, told the Green Bay Press Gazette, “He wants to go where he’s going to get an opportunity to play and be a part of a team that has a chance to compete for the Super Bowl."
Jenkins played with the Packers for seven seasons, including the 2010 world champions, before heading to Philadelphia as a free agent.
In 2010, the Packers' defense ranked second in points allowed and 5th in yards allowed.
After he left, and after the career-ending injury of Nick Collins, the Packers finished:
- last in yards allowed and 19th in points allowed in 2011
- 11th in yards and points allowed in 2012
