MILWAUKEE - The southeast Wisconsin, Waukesha and Milwaukee forecast for the rest of your Thursday will be pretty nice compared to what we've been seeing.

We're still going to be cooler than average, but at least it won't be snowing. Gradually, we'll see more sunshine as the day goes on with highs in the mid-30's.

Mostly clear skies with a little patchy fog is possible tonight. Overnight lows will bottom out in the low-20's for our lakefront communities and Milwaukee temperatures and mid-teens for Waukesha's temperature and inland areas.

I know it's hard to believe, but we're going to see plenty of sun for your Friday. Highs will top out in the upper-30's, so we'll be doing some melting.

Friday night, the clouds will be on the increase, but it will be quiet. Overnight lows won't be bad in the mid-20's.

Saturday, it looks like things start off okay, but slowly go downhill as the afternoon wears on. We'll see a chance of rain in the afternoon. The better chance of seeing this will be in the west. Highs Saturday will top out around 40.

Rain will be hanging around the area on Saturday night. Current indications have rain totals around a half inch. Flooding doesn't look to be an issue, but the snowpack will take a hit. It is March. Lows will be above freezing in the upper-30's.

Sunday looks like we'll start off with some rain, but gradually that comes to an end as the afternoon wears on. Highs will top out in the low-40's.
