GREEN BAY - The Green Bay Packers have hired a new college scout from the University of Houston.

According to the team, Alonzo Dotson spent the past two seasons working with defensive quality control at the University of Houston. Prior to that, he served as an assistant coach at Madison High School in Houston for two years.

Dotson lettered three times as a defensive end (in 2004, 2006 and 2007) at the University of Oklahoma, where he was a member of three Big 12 championship teams.
