Nebraska police hold Wisconsin mom in child case
LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) -- Lincoln police have arrested a 29-year-old woman who Wisconsin authorities say illegally left the state with her three daughters.
Court records say Jennifer Lorrigan wasn't supposed to take the girls out of Wisconsin or more than 150 miles away from her home without the permission of their father. The girls are ages 3, 8 and 11.
The records say the Manitowoc County Sheriff's Office in Wisconsin contacted Nebraska authorities on Friday to discuss Lorrigan, who was wanted on a warrant that lists three counts of interfering with child custody.
Lorrigan and the girls were found at the Lincoln City Mission.
The girls are being held by authorities. Lorrigan will be extradited to Wisconsin. It's unclear whether she has an attorney.
