MPS teacher behind bars for allegedly repeatedly sexually assaulting a student
MILWAUKEE - An MPS teacher is charged with repeatedly sexually assaulting one of his students.
Rogers Street Academy fourth grade teacher, Armando Briseno, is accused of forcing a student to engage in oral sex.
In court documents, the student alleges Briseno performed oral sex on him more than 10 times.
The boy told police Briseno took him into another teacher's room, locked the door and "forced me to do whatever he wanted to do to my parts."
Lourdes Hernandez third grade son attends the school. She was shocked by the news.
"The teachers over there are really serious and they take good care of the kids so you shocked me, like I don't know what to say," she said.
The alleged assault occurred over the course of two and a half years.
A spokesman for MPS would not answer questions about Briseno but said by email "he was suspended as soon as we became aware of the allegations".
Briseno is in jail, with no opportunity for bail.
