Brewers' Italian Sausage is home safe and sound

CEDARBURG - The Brewers' Italian Sausage has been returned to a bar in Cedarburg.
Reports say that someone wearing the sausage costume went "barhopping in Cedarburg" after someone stole it from the Cedarburg Winter Festival.
According to police, someone walked out of the Milwaukee Curling Club's Cedarburg location on Feb. 16 wearing the costume before going out drinking.
The Sausage was reportedly returned Wednesday night to the TJ Ryan's bar in Cedarburg. A source at TJ Ryans said that Wednesday evening, two individuals showed up to the bar and dropped the costume off. They reportedly commented to the source: "You didn't see us" and left.
Cedarburg Police said they cannot comment on this case since it is an ongoing investigation.
