Milwaukee band ranked as one of top 50 in America

MILWAUKEE - A band from Milwaukee is getting national notoriety from a publication ranking them as one of America's top 50 bands.
Semi-Twang received a No. 28 ranking from the site "The Alternate Root."
The band reunited in 2009 after reaching major label status in the 1980's.
The Alternate Root says it focuses on what it calls "American Roots" music.
Band of Heathens, Old Crow Medicine Show, Carolina Chocolate Drops, Los Lobos and Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings round out the Top 5.
