MILWAUKEE - A veteran's group is trying to get a Milwaukee family back on its feet and they're asking for your help. Dryhootch is asking for donations of time and money for Eva Graf and Osvaldo Quintanilla.

The couple are both combat veterans.

Their son Miguel Quintanilla died as a result of a fire at their home just over a week ago. They had no insurance on the home and have lost nearly all of their possessions.

"Just because were not stationed together or in the same service, were all one family," Jeff Krisel says. "Our lives don't stop and we have to be there for each other."

Bob Oleszek has a lot of special memories of Miguel. The seven-year-old was his cousin, Eva's son. He talked about the boy as he stood outside the burned out home Sunday.

"[There's] something special, that little guy," Oleszek says.

Oleszek is helping the couple rebuild their home. He worked Sunday removing what he could salvage for the two. He admit's he's got a daunting task ahead of him without some help.

Dryhootch is talking to other vets and companies who may want to donate money, time and building supplies to get the couple back on their feet.

Investigators say the fire started behind a refrigerator in a second floor kitchen. Evidence points to an electrical malfunction. Anyone interested in helping can contact Graf's cousin, Bob Oleszek at 414-881-2064. A fund has also been set up to help offset the costs to Quintanilla's family.
