Injuries in two Water Street crashes
MILWAUKEE - Three people, including a Milwaukee Police officer, are hurt after two incidents in downtown Milwaukee just after bar time early Sunday morning.
The first incident happened about 2:15 Sunday morning when a driver crashed into a 25-year-old pedestrian at Water and Juneau. The man the driver hit was seriously hurt. We're told he remains hospitalized.
As police were on-scene investigating, a suspected drunk driver hit a squad car that was blocking traffic at Water and Highland, hurting the officer inside.
He's been treated and released from Froedtert for minor injuries.
The driver, who's 22, was arrested.
He was not hurt.
