Bomb squad dispatched after person cleaning finds possible threat

MILWAUKEE - The Milwaukee Police Bomb Squad was called to Galena Street in Milwaukee for the report of a possible bomb.

According to MPD, a person was cleaning and found an old World War II artifact. The incident reportedly happened at 1818 W. Galena Street.

According to police on scene, the items ended up being tear gas canisters found at the home. They were not explosive.
