Alleged molester allowed to return to live in victim's neighborhood
RACINE - During a bond hearing on Friday, a judge ruled that Robert Lambkin is allowed to return home to await his trial.
Lambkin was arrested after an 8-year-old girl told police she was outside playing with friends, when Lambkin ran up to her, unzipped her coat and placed his hands under her shirt.
The prosecutor had asked for the court to rule that Lambkin live at a different residence, but the court said he could return home if he met certain requirements.
"Defendant to keep shades drawn, monitor when the family/child are outside and must be sure child is NOT outside when he needs to leave the house," according to the court record.
Lambkin could forfeit his bail or face arrest if he does not meet the criteria.
