65-year-old Elisabeth Witte of Whitefish Bay was heading to her car shortly after midnight.  She had just parted ways with another couple when her ex-husband was seen walking in the parking structure at 1000 N. Water Street.  Witte did have a restraining order against her ex, but that didn't stop him from confronting her and stabbing her.  By the time police arrived, the woman was lying in a pool of blood, her ex standing over her.  The man admitted to the killing, and officers found a 5-inch military style knife nearby.  Police say this was not a "chance encounter," and have the suspect in custody.
