Wauwatosa CVS store robbed at knife-point
WAUWATOSA - At 8:20 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 18, the CVS Pharmacy at 7520 W. Bluemound Rd., Wauwatosa was robbed by a lone white male.
The man reportedly entered the store and approached employees at the pharmacy counter. He showed the blade of a knife and was last seen leaving the area on foot.
According to Lt. Gerald J. Witkowski with the Wauwatosa Police Department, the suspect is described as a white man in his late 20's to early 30's, around 5 feet 10 to 6 feet 2 inches tall. He has a medium build, brown hair, brown eyes, is clean shaven, wearing orange full face ski mask, tan winter jacket, gray pants, gray winter gloves, black shoes.
Lt. Witkowski said the man was described as acting "timidly." He pulled out some type of knife, with only the three inch blade shown. Witnesses did not see a vehicle.
Police believe the man could be the same one who was also in the store on the afternoon of Feb. 12 wearing the orange hat/mask up on top of his head. According to Witkowski, the man had acted suspiciously at that time but did not commit a robbery.
The photos show the man they suspect who was in the store on the 12th.
