Dad admits to letting kids smoke, grow pot at home
HARTLAND - A Hartland dad has been arrested for allegedly providing marijuana to his sons and other area kids.
Joel Jamieson said he would "rather have his children use marijuana and be close to home, so that he knows where they are and do not get into other problems."
The 39-year-old dad added that he and his wife smoke "about a bowl" each night. He also said at one point his children began a marijuana grow with lights and a single plant.
"Jamieson stated that he allows marijuana to be consumed, but that his kids have to use their own money to buy their own marijuana," according to the district attorney.
