Packers to raise ticket prices
GREEN BAY - The Green Bay Packers announced that tickets for 2013 games at Lambeau Field will cost between $2 and $5 more, depending on where you sit.
The least expensive seats will cost $74, a $2 increase. Those are located in the end zone areas.
Seats between the 20 yard line and end zones will rise $5 to $85/game.
Tickets between the 20 and 50 yard lines will run $97, an increase of $5.
Suite tickets will run $97 as well, a $5 increase. The new south end zone seats will cost $82 and $89.
“These increases will keep us at about the League average in terms of ticket price, which is our goal,” Packers President Mark Murphy said in a letter to season ticket holders.
“We want to be fair to the visiting teams in terms of shared revenue (visiting teams receive one-third of all ticket revenue), but also be as affordable as possible for you."
