Could Packers franchise-tag Greg Jennings?

GREEN BAY - This week, the National Football League gives its teams the chance to put what's called a "franchise tag" on a player.
There is the possibility that the Packers could tag free agent wide receiver Greg Jennings, according to an analysis by Bleacher Report.
That means a team can make sure the player can't depart as a free agent, and in return, they receive one of the top five salaries in the NFL that year at that position.
Bleacher Report suggests that the Packers could try that move in order to get value in a trade for Jennings, rather than keep him for the 2013 season.
However, if the trade doesn't happen, it could hurt them in the salary cap and negate the gains made there by releasing safety Charles Woodson.
The two-time Pro Bowl receiver had three consecutive years with 1,000 yards receiving, including his 2010 Pro Bowl season when the Packers won Super Bowl XLV.
