Man facing homicide charges says he tried to revive his wife
MT PLEASANT - A 36 year old Racine County man says he tried to revive his wife after allegedly strangling her.
According to a criminal complaint as cited by the Journal Times of Racine, Joseph Guerrero admitted to placing his hands around the neck of 21 year old Bianca Vite in an argument, but says he didn't think he squeezed that hard.
Vite died in the attack December 22nd.
Authorities found her remains on Christmas Day.
According to the newspaper report, Guerrero then tried to set himself on fire, but ended up burning the house of relatives where they were staying.
Guerrero faces charges of first degree intentional homicide, arson and mutilating a corpse.
