Storm Team 4
Very cold weekend with patchy snow
MILWAUKEE - On the back end of a departing storm system, we'll still see some clouds to finish the work week with periods of patchy flurries, too.
More significant will be the noticeably colder temperatures as we briefly tap a chilly air mass sinking Southward from Canada.
High pressure working its way in to the northern plains and the Great Lakes will lead to somewhat diminished winds and even colder temperatures plummeting to the lower teens.
The weekend promises to be quiet with brighter skies by Sunday, but it's a split decision when it comes to temperatures.
Saturday will remain frigid with mercury topping out around 20. A more southerly flow for Sunday will drive readings up dramatically to about 30 degrees.
