Dreary with light snow Thursday; warm temps drop into the weekend

MILWAUKEE - The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin for Thursday is for a dreary and mild day with highs in the mid to upper 30s, but it will be damp thanks to a light wintry mix all day.

Expect, drizzle, light rain, sleet and occasional light snow with little to no accumulation through Thursday evening. Flurries will continue overnight as temperatures drop into the teens with wind chills near 0 by morning.

Friday will be mostly cloudy with flurries and cold as highs struggle to reach the low 20s and wind chills in the single digits. Friday night will be the coldest during this mini cold snap with lows between 5 and 10, and wind chills as cold as -5. Saturday is partly cloudy with highs in the teens and lower 20s and after a cold start Sunday morning, highs will get into the upper 20s.

Monday will hit 40 before yet another cold front arrives and drops us into the 20s for most of next week.
