A man loses both his legs in a terrible motorcycle accident in Greenfield Friday night near Forest Home Avenue and Cold Spring.

The 33-year-old Milwaukee man was riding with a group when he hit the medium, flew off his bike and hit a street sign.  He was transported to Froedtert Memorial Hospital where he is being treated.

Police believe he was speeding.  Alcohol does not appear to be involved.  The man didn't have a helmet on and he also didn't have a valid motorcycle license.
