Milwaukee snow will become heavier during evening commute
MILWAUKEE - Snow began to fall in the Milwaukee area during the midday on Thursday.
It wasn't the heavy blizzard-type snow, but that was expected during the evening commute home.
"Give this one time. It's just starting to ramp up right now," said Storm Team 4Caster Michael Fish.
"By tonight's commute, it'll be a totally different story."
Snow was falling lightly, with temperatures in the mid-30's as of about 11:30 a.m.
"As we go into the afternoon hours, you'll be seeing a different picture, with snow really coming down," explained Fish.
"It gets heavier and heavier as the day goes on. It's a gradual progression."
