A witness to the crash that killed Oconomowoc Associate Principal Jennifer Bukosky, her daughter Courtney Bella and her unborn daughter is talking about the crash. The witness took the stand Friday during a preliminary hearing in the case against the former doctor accused of causing the crash.
Mark Benson is accused of being high on prescription drugs when he slammed his Cadillac Escalade into the back of Bukosky's car.
Brianne Conway had been driving just behind Bukosky that afternoon. She testified Friday, "I saw really big black truck coming up behind me and my friend was sitting in the passenger seat and we both looked at each other and realized this guy was coming really really fast."
Conway says she was able to drive her car out of the way. Benson then slammed into Bukosky.
Conway told the court that just after the crash, "I saw [Benson] look at his truck. His hands were flailing in the air, his feet were shaking really bad. He looked like he could barely walk. His feet were spread apart and he looked really scared."
Benson sat quietly during the hearing, which will determine whether prosecutors have enough evidence for a trial against him.
The hearing is scheduled to continue in two weeks.
