MILWAUKEE - The Milwaukee Admirals have announced that they will be honoring Green Bay Packers Donald Driver on Friday, Feb. 15.
"The Milwaukee Admirals President Jon Greenberg announced today that Green Bay Packers All-Time Leading Receiver, Super Bowl XLV Champion, and 2012 Dancing with the Stars Champion Donald Driver will be in attendance at the BMO Harris Bradley Center for the game on Friday, February 15th against the San Antonio Rampage," the team said in a statement.
According to Greenberg, this will be Driver's first appearance in Milwaukee since he announced his retirement.
“The Admirals are honored to welcome a Wisconsin icon,” said Greenberg. “This special night will give the fans of Southeastern Wisconsin a chance to celebrate Donald Driver’s career.”
Driver will be on hand for a ceremonial puck drop to start the game. However, there will not be a public autograph session.
Driver will be celebrating his retirement with 1,000 lucky fans Wednesday, Feb. 6 at the Lambeau Field Atrium.
