WEST BEND - Last week, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a pickup truck being stolen during a test drive from a dealership.

According to the sheriff, just after 5 p.m. on Jan. 30, a man and woman entered the Russ Darrow dealership in West Bend and asked to take a truck for a test drive. A sales associate went along on the drive.

During the test drive, the man took out a knife and held it to the neck of the man from the dealership.

"After driving several more miles... the male who was driving, stopped the truck and told the victim to get out," according to the sheriff. "The suspects left westbound... The victim, who was not injured, flagged down a passing vehicle and contacted the Sheriff’s Office for assistance. The suspects then stole gas from a station in the area, and fled."

The sales associate from the dealership and others were able to identify the suspects as Scott K. Kudek, 39, and Kayla R. Goemer, 24 from Kewaskum.

On Feb. 3rd, Kudek and Goemer were arrested by a sheriff in Hillborough County, Florida, at a hotel.

According to Washington County Sheriff Schmidt, they are being held for extradition to Washington County on felony charges of Armed Car jacking, Recklessly Endangering Safety, and Bail jumping. The truck, a 2012 Dodge Ram 1500, was also recovered.
