A longtime voice on 620WTMJ's Wisconsin's Morning News is recovering from a heart attack.
Robb Edwards underwent successful quadruple bypass surgery at Community Memorial Hospital in Menomonee Falls.
Edwards hosted Wisconsin's Morning News for the grand majority of his 15-year tenure at 620WTMJ.
He eventually moved to work for Clear Channel's radio group in Milwaukee, and continues to do advertising voice work for radio and television commercials.
He also is the public address voice of the Milwaukee Brewers, but called in to the team on Tuesday afternoon after suffering the heart attack.
620WTMJ's Gene Mueller filled in for Edwards Tuesday night and will again for the remainder of the current Brewers homestand.
We send our best wishes and prayers for Robb for a speedy recovery.
