Two masked men rob UWM student at gunpoint Tuesday night

SHOREWOOD - Shorewood Police are looking for two armed robbery suspects.

They say two men wearing ski masks, and armed with a handgun, robbed a UWM student on the street as he was walking home around 10:35 p.m. Tuesday night near Maryland and Stratford.

The first suspect is identified as a black male in his late 20s, around 250 to 275 pounds and 6'1" to 6'2" feet tall. According to police, he was wearing multiple layers of black long sleeved shirts, gray sweatpants and was not wearing any jacket or gloves. The witness could not say for sure but they think he has short hair. He held his pistol in his right hand.

The second suspect is identified as a black male in his late 20s, around 160 pounds and around 5'9". He was wearing multiple layers of black long sleeved shirts, black sweatpants and was also not wearing any jacket or gloves. He had long curly black hair coming out from the bottom of the ski mask, approximately shoulder length.

There was no vehicle seen. Shorewood Police are asking for the public’s help in locating the suspects. If you know anything about the robbery or suspects, you are asked to call 847-2610.
