Mayor Barrett and Sheriff Clarke appear on Piers Morgan Tonight

WASHINGTON - A duel between Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett and Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke is making national headlines.
The two Wisconsinites debated gun control on The Piers Morgan Show on CNN Tuesday night. Mayor Barrett claims the Sheriff's office responds to very little calls to violent crimes.
Morgan asked Sheriff Clarke about the number of people who have defended themselves with a gun. Clarke declined to answer, saying he doesn't have those statistics.
The sheriff spent a lot of time defending himself against Morgan, who criticized him multiple times about the ad.
The Mayor told Piers Morgan he thinks it's irresponsible of the sherrif to imply calling 911 will not help you.
