Vigil for murdered rapper to be held Tuesday night
MILWAUKEE - A vigil for Evon Young will be held tonight, Tuesday Jan. 29, in Milwaukee.
The event will take place at 52nd and Custer at 7 p.m. Young disappeared in early January, and five men were later arrested for his murder. His body has not yet been found.
"Annette Perry, mother of Evon Young would like to invite the community for a Healing Vigil and also would like to thank everyone for their love and support," said Tracey Dent, with the Peace for Change Alliance.
A fund has been set up a Chase Bank called the "Yung LT Fund", foranyone wishing to help Young's family.
