$4/ gallon for regular gasoline has hit Milwaukee - first reaching us in northeastern Waukesha County.
A station in Menomonee Falls has hit the "magic" mark: the Mobil station on N56 W13920 Silver Spring Drive, on the corner of Lilly Road in Menomonee Falls.
The report of $4 regular gas first came Saturday on the web site, around 12:45 p.m.
Two other stations were reported on milwaukeegasprices.com to have reached 3.99:
• the BP at 15565 West Bluemound Road in Brookfield
• the Citgo at 2502 West Wisconsin Avenue on Milwaukee's near west side
The lowest gas price reported on the web site comes from Cudahy: $3.75 at the Speedway on the corner of South Pennsylvania and East College Avenues.
The web site says the average regular gas price in the metropolitan area runs at about $3.87/gallon.
