MILWAUKEE - We've got a split weekend for southeastern Wisconsin and today will be the better day by far.

It will be seasonably cool with highs in the low 20s but it will still feel great in the sunshine with very light winds.

Cloud cover increases this evening but it will still be quiet overnight with seasonal temperatures in the mid teens.

A Winter Weather Advisory is now in effect starting at 2 Sunday afternoon.  It runs until Noon on Monday for everyone except people in Sheboygan and Fond du Lac Counties.  It ends there early Monday morning.

A warm front moves into the forecast by the afternoon, though ahead of the front we could see light snow showers give us one to two inches of snow.

That snow won't last on the ground however, as the warm front moves through the snow changes to sleet and eventually over to freezing rain.

Initially there was concern that most locations could see a tenth to a quarter of an inch of ice accumulation, making very slick and dangerous road conditions.  There's still a worry about a buildup of ice, but it doesn't appear we will get as much as initially forecast.

The freezing rain changes over to just plain rain showers by Monday morning as temperatures continue to climb.

Highs will be in the low 40s on Monday with rain showers tapering off by the afternoon.

An active pattern is upon us for the start of the work week with another chance of rain Monday night and throughout the day on Tuesday as temperatures will be in the upper 40s.

A cold front makes its way through on Wednesday so rain chances change back over to light snow chances and temperatures drop back into the teens for highs by Thursday.
