A child in Cudahy picked the wrong thing to bring to show and tell.

Police were called to Lincoln Elementary School after a gun and bullets were found in the desk of a 4th grader by a teacher on Thursday afternoon.

The teacher acted on a tip from another student who knew about the gun.

Police are looking for the owner of the gun and where the boy got it from.

The student didn't threaten anyone or fire the gun. The boy has been released to his parents.
