Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke is asking for the jobs of two officers after an incident where they beat a college student in a bar while off-duty.
According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Capt. Eric E. Roberson and Deputy Andrew R. Bilda are accused of beating Marquette Student Robert C. Blankenheim after he hit a bartender's car in the parking lot of Rosie's Water Works on Water St. in November.
Roberson and Bilda are members of the Renegade Pigs, a motorcycle club for police officers and firefighters.
A complaint filed by Blankenheim states that he was punched in the face and abdomen, then shoved to the ground by the officers in the incident.
He was also cited with drunken driving after registering a blood-alcohol level of 0.15 on a test given that night.
Blankenheim is seeking unspecified damages for physical and psychological injuries.
Action could be taken against other off-duty officers who were in the bar in the future as more details emerge.
