Storm Team 4's Jesse Ritka weather experiment: Will hot water evaporate in the cold air?
How cold is it outside right now? Storm team 4 forecaster Jesse Ritka brings us a series of cold weather experiments. Part 2 will test hot water.
It hasn't been this cold in two years, so to illistrate exactly how cold it is, we will show you what happens when hot water comes into contact with cold air.
While most of the water appears to have vaporized, you can see that some of the water still made it to the ground. This means the cold day is not breaking any records.
