ATV rider dies at Lake Winnebago
CALUMET COUNTY, Wis. - Dive teams were called to Lake Winnebago Saturday afternoon after reports of an ATV slipping through the ice.
They ended up finding the driver, a 42 year old Sherwood man, but a spokesman for the Calumet County Sheriff's Department says he had spent about an hour underwater before they found his body at High Cliff State Park Marina.
He was transported by helicopter to Theda Clark Trauma Center in Neenah, where he was pronounced dead.
