Milwaukee Catholics honor the King legacy
MILWAUKEE - The organizer of a a big Martin Luther King celebration Saturday afternoon in Milwaukee says he believes the civil rights leader would be proud of how far we've come, but also would believe there's still work to be done.
Carl Carby at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church says he especially believes the younger generation needs to take heed of what King stood for.
A ceremony honoring MLK was to take place Saturday afternoon at the church at 1927 N. Fourth street in Milwaukee.
