Whitefish Bay school deemed safe after weapons confiscated
WHITEFISH BAY - Police learned of an incident potentially involving weapons and students at Whitefish Bay Middle School late Thursday, school officials said Friday.
Around midnight, investigators confiscated an unloaded BB gun and pellet gun.
"Both guns were recovered on January 17th," according to the Whitefish Bay Police Department. "One student age 13 and three students age 12 were questioned and released to their parents."
It was determined Whitefish Bay Schools were safe for class on Friday.
According to the School District, appropriate student disciplinary action will take place.
