MILWAUKEE - As the leading edge of much warmer air taps into some growing moisture to our north, we'll see some early light snow with up to an inch of accumulation far north of Milwaukee and trace amount closer to the Illinois border.
A big difference between high pressure passing to our south and low pressure passing to our north will lead to very strong Southwest winds today.
Breezes could gust to 35 miles per hour. Those winds will drive our temperatures way up to about 40 degrees today and tomorrow.
While we'll see more clouds with that light snow earlytoday, sun should break through in the afternoon, especially south.
The warm air continues on Saturday.
The Arctic air finally filters down far enough south to have a big impact on us by Saturday night and Sunday into next week when high temperatures will be stuck in the teens and low temperatures bottom out below zero Monday night into Tuesday.
