Body pulled from Cedar Creek identified as Robert Steinbrecker
CEDARBURG - Rescue crews on Friday recovered from Cedar Creek the body of a man missing since late December.
The Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Department said they had been conducting a search of the creek in Cedarburg much of the day after a resident called about 9 a.m. to report seeing a hat in the stream.
Late Friday, the department reported that the body is that of Robert Steinbrecker, 24, who was last since running on the ice on the creek on Dec. 27.
