GREEN BAY - Former Packers are pumped up about the team's playoff run. TODAY'S TMJ4 Reporter Charles Benson caught up with one Super Bowl champ sharing his experience with fans.
Number 93 was the Grave Digger for the Green Bay Packers, but these days Gilbert Brown is digging his former team, on Twitter.
"I'm not tweeter savvy yet," joked Brown.
Brown was hired by NBC Sports to tweet about the Packers-Vikings playoff game, a game which includes an opponent he hates after they cut him.
"The Minnesota Vikings are a team that I believe should not be playing football in the NFL," admitted Brown to Benson. "We've got bad blood but I always made it right."
Brown sounded like a big fan of Clay Matthew's with tweets like: "OMG...Clay clay clay..Did I say Clay...WOW!!!."
He also showed a sense of humor with Erik Walden wearing his old number: "Hey, tell that skinny to give me my jersey back. :)"
When asked if he wishes he could be playing, Brown responded, "Oh, most definitely!"
Now it's on to San Francisco for the Packers, a team Brown knows a lot about.
"It's not an easy place to play. This is what football is all about. Green Bay Packers vs San Francisco 49ers, that's our grudge match. You know we used to whoop them every time."
Brown believes if the Packers beat the 49ers, they will be in the Super Bowl.
When asked if he thought the Packers might have to play Seattle for the NFC Championship, Brown said: "Seattle will get their tails kicked."
