Racine man faces 8th drunken driving offense
RACINE, Wis. - Racine police believe alcohol had something to do with a head-on crash, in which one driver fled the scene.
Fifty-eight-year-old Cruz Castro is accused of colliding his vehicle into another this week.
A family friend reportedly called police after witnessing the accident.
Police say they later found Castro in that friend's home in his underwear, then took him to a hospital for a blood draw.
This is Castro's eighth drunken driving offense.
His preliminary hearing is set for Wednesday.
