Tickets available for Packers-Vikings playoff, but they'll cost big
MILWAUKEE - Packers Planet is getting energized for the start of the 2012 NFL playoffs and the Green Bay Packers' wildcard game at Lambeau Field against the Minnesota Vikings on Saturday night.
Fans can find tickets, but their pocketbook may become a bit lighter when they pay for those tickets.
As of Monday morning, an end zone seat at Lambeau would cost you $175, but places like Ticket King have many options and are willing to work with customers.
Their phone lines have lit up with Packers fans who want tickets.
"Nonstop. We were in here the second the game ended, and this morning, it's been crazy busy all day," said John Lamoreaux of Ticket King.
"They go up from $175, depending on what kind of seats you're looking for.:"
A 50-yard-line seat cost $400, as of Monday morning.
"It's primarily Packers fans, but there are definitely some Vikings fans calling. They travel well."
Packers hope to pack the house surrounding the Frozen Tundra and help lead the Green and Gold to a wildcard win.
"The excitement is in the air for sure," said Lamoreaux.
Ticket King was also selling tickets to the NFC Championship Game.
The Packers would host it on January 20 if:
- They win Saturday night
- They defeat San Francisco on January 12
- Their NFC Championship opponent would be Seattle or Washington
