GREENDALE - It was an emotional Mass on Christmas Day for members of St. Alphonsus Church in Greendale.
It was one year ago, when fire erupted at the Church and canceled services. Flames tore through the building and heavily damaged the interior of the structure.
Christmas day services held special meaning for people attending services Tuesday.
"This year we've been blessed, were back in with all the new renovations and the entire congregation together." said Vince Sciano.
St. Alphonsus reopened after months of repairs last July. Investigators never determined the cause of the fire.
Insurance and donations helped fund repairs for the Greendale Church.
